Authors are requested to send original papers of 4-8 pages (or more, in agreement with the editors), short
communications of 2-4 pages and reviews of 12-15 pages.
Paper submitted for publication must be prepared following the instruction given below or using the template
document. Manuscripts should be written in good English. All papers will not be submitted to any further
extensive technical editing.
Manuscripts should be typed in MS-Word by using common system fonts (Times New Roman and Greek letters in the

size 10, with 1.15 spacing. The text should be in double-column format. All pages of the manuscript must be
numbered continuously. (Style Main text: 10 pt; paragraph format: justified alignment, left and right indent 0

Tables, figures and/or schemes must be embedded in the main text of the manuscript and should follow the
paragraph in which they are mentioned for the first time. All tables should be submitted as editable text and
not as images. Tables must be prepared with the aid of the WORD table function, without vertical lines. The
minimum size of the font in the tables should be 9 pt. Table columns must not be formatted using multiple
spaces. Ensure that each table and illustration has a caption. Supply captions separately, not attached to the
figure. A caption should comprise a brief title (not on the figure itself) and a description of the
illustration. Table caption must be placed above corresponding Table, while Captions of the Illustrations (Figs.
Schemes...) must follow the corresponding item. The captions, either for Tables or Illustrations, should make
the items comprehensible without reading of the main text (but clearly referenced in), must follow numerical
order (Roman for Tables, Arabic for Illustrations), and should not be provided on separate sheets or as separate
files. Figures should be supplied in either vector art formats (Illustrator, EPS, WMF, FreeHand, CorelDraw,
PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) or bitmap formats (Photoshop, TIFF, GIF, JPEG, etc.).
Units of measurement should be presented simply and concisely, using the International System of Units (SI). The
use of litres (l) and Celsius degree (oC) is acceptable.
Abbreviations should be specified, in parentheses, when first mentioned.
Formulae and equations must be written with great care using corresponding formula/equation editor. Equations
should be numbered (1), (2), etc., with the number placed in parentheses at the right margin. Reference to
equations should use the form "Eq. (2)" or simply (2). Math equations should be submitted as editable text and
not as images. Variables are to be presented in italics. Number consecutively any equations that have to be
displayed separately from the text.
For Plants, animals and microorganisms should be given full binominal Latin name, in italic, in the title,
abstract, headings and legends of tables and figures, and at the first mention in the text. If the list of
spices in considered, then it goes with the author’s name and year of description, i. e., Maja squinado (Herbst,
1788), and the belonging to the system species is indicated in the title (Crustacea, Decapoda, Bracbyura). A
collection number, strain number or name should be quoted, e.g. Escherichia coli (АТCC 8739), Maja squinado.
Thereafter abbreviate them in the text, e.g. E. coli, M. squinado. Latin words , as well as the names of
species, should be in italic, as for example: i.e., e.g., in vivo, Candida albicans, etc. The branching of
organic compound should also be indicated in italic, for example, n-butanol, tert-butanol, etc.
Optionally, it should indicate the significant contribution of the manuscript with its applications.
Acknowledgments. Acknowledgments of people, grants, funds, etc. should be placed in a separate section before the
reference list. The names of funding organizations should be written in full.
Used references must be complete and accurate. Use Hardvare citation style for references. The reference list
should appear at the end of your work on a separate page. Only include references you have cited in your work.
References should be listed in alphabetical order. All references should have a hanging indent. That is, all
lines of a reference subsequent to the first should be indented.

Authors from Serbia should prepare an abstract in Serbian including the title, names and affiliations of the
authors, which are given at the end of the text.
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of
the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
